Single Origin Showcase: De Bourbon

by Kaitlin Graham 10 Oct 2023

Our De Bourbon coffee is grown by a dedicated farmer in the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala. Mario Roberto Sosa has been an integral part of the Guatemalan coffee industry since the 1960s. For over 50 years, he has spent time perfecting the art of growing coffee.

His commitment to his craft has earned him one of the most unique and flavorful crops in Guatemala. Now 95 years old, Mario spends his days caring for his crops and harvest with the help of his family, his wife Raquel and their seven sons.

The beans for our De Bourbon are grown on Mario Roberto Sosa’s estate, which develop unique full flavors of green apple, milk chocolate, and roasted almond.

Then, it’s aged for 30 days in a bourbon barrel to give it an extraordinary taste you won’t find anywhere else.
